Right tools for the job

Wanting to feel less anxious, less angry or less negative about yourself is a fantastic starting point. It means you are showing up for yourself and that you want to improve your own situation - basically, it means you care enough to try.

The possibility of joy

A lot of the conversation around therapy talks about what is discussed in it - the issues, the pain, the work. Those elements are incredibly important to outline, because the work is hard is hard and underselling that would be an injustice. However... the thing that quite often gets over looked is what it is possible as a result of the work.

Anxiety

Anxiety is your brain alerting you to something that is happening that feels like it needs your attention. Some anxiety is pretty normal and most people feel it at some point.However, when the frequency or intensity you are experiencing anxiety at impacts your ability to move through the world as you want to, then it might help you to know that not only is support available, but it might just help the anxiety feel more manageable.

Feeling lonely

Ever been in a room full of family, friends or acquaintances and felt totally alone despite being surrounded by people? Or even felt like it doesn't matter if you are in the room or not because everyone seems just fine without you? Does the idea of telling your nearest and dearest when you feel like that seem like you'd be a burden or drain?
